2017 Rangely Outdoor Museum's Monthly Firesides
Nothing goes together better than old stories and a campfire, so here at the Rangely Outdoor Museum, we're bringing those things together! A new rock fire pit has been built here at the museum, and each month during the summer, we're bringing history to life. So far, we have had the pleasure of listening to the band "Fiscus and Gravy" play old pioneer songs, and learn about Wickiups from the archeologist Curtis Martin. While the weather doesn't always cooperate, it doesn't stop the history from being taught!
As the summer progresses, so will the History Firesides. The July fireside will be held on the 21st at 7:30 pm. Tim Meinen will be speaking on arrowheads. Hope to see you there!
